Sexy Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween doesn't mean having to look ugly or evil. You don't have to be a witch in a long dress with an ugly nose, a wizard in a long robe or devil with a  bright red face.

How about making this one a sexy Halloween? There are fabulously sexy versions of the typical Halloween costumes that will allow you to fit the theme and still look and feel great.

For men the ghost pirate costume is a great one. Captain Jack Sparrow was one sexy pirate… even when he was dead. (OK so that had something to do with Johnny Depp but still…)

You could also be the ghost of a French maid, the ghost of a fireman, a ghost of a schoolgirl, a ghost Victorian gentleman etc. Take anything costume you look great in and add some white face paint and a skeleton bones shirt or skeleton stockings.

The other key theme here is being naughty.  Be a wicked fairy with torn wings, torn stockings and a black corset and tutu or frilly skirt with long black boots.  Or wear a black version or a punk version of fairy fancy dress.  You can buy dark fairy costumes and an interesting take on Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, Tinkerspell – with torn stockings, docks, crooked, torn wings and messed up hair.

Or instead of an angel, be the fallen kind. There are black angel costumes readily available, complete with black halos and wings.  Alternatively you can take an existing white angel costume but wear something a bit different such as over the knee boots or bright red stilettoes and fishnets.  Add a crooked halo and you're set!

You can also buy ready made reversible costumes such a one that turns from angel to devil with a simple reversible dress and change of accessories.

And of course there are very sexy versions of witch, devil and vampire costumes available. Vampire costumes for men are naturally sexy with the long cape, rich colours and the evil lurking under the charming exterior. Vampiress costumes are also stunning and you can find truly elegant long costumes if you don't want to show too much leg.

Witch costumes come in lots of short and flirty styles and in a range of colours, not just black. And you can get wigs in great colours to match your hat – black and green, black and orange, black and purple and many more. Grab a pair of stripy over the knee socks to match the wig for the schoolgirl look.

And devil costumes are super sexy for men.  The sexy version is more about the raised eyebrow and the attitude with a subtle costume, for example a tail poking out from a jacket with tails, pointy shoes and a pair of horns. This is particularly good fancy dress outfit if you want to try some outrageous chat up lines.
